What Will Happen To Those Who Do Not Obey The Sayings of Jesus

What Will Happen To Those Who Do Not Obey The Sayings of Jesus? Part 2 of 2.

THE NARROW GATES. Matthew 7: 13-14. Amplified Version.

“Enter through the narrow gate.

For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it.

But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to everlasting life, and there are few who find it.

I NEVER KNEW YOU, DEPART FROM ME - Matthew 7:21-23. Amplified Version.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.

Many will say to Me on that day when I judge them, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’

And then I will declare to them publicly,

‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you are banished from My presence, you who act wickedly disregarding My commands.’

The title to this two part video series is a question for those who choose to not obey the commands of Jesus.

Who are these people?

These are the people that Jesus will say to them, "Depart from me as I never knew you!"

But really!, "Who are these people?"

These people did not care to obey the sayings (teachings) of Jesus, much less have a relationship with Him.

That's why He said to them, "I never knew you!"

Where else in the Scriptures has Jesus said this?

First, there is the Parable of the Ten Virgins, also known as the Parable of the Five Wise and Foolish Virgins.

Matthew 25:1-13.

Five were wise and five were foolish.

The foolish virgins were left outside the gate because the Bridegroom said to them, "I do not know you. In other words He said, "You do not have a relationship with Me."

The next is the Parable of the Talents.

The Master said to two of the three servants that obeyed His Commands,

"His lord said to them, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant;

you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.

Enter into the joy of your lord.’

So, what did He say to the third servant?

Read for yourselves Matthew 25:26 through 30

“But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant"

"cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

And third reed for yourselves - Matthew 25:31-46.

Titled - The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations.

When we stand before Jesus, the most important words we can hear Jesus say to us are,

"Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord."

For Jesus to say that to us will be because we have listened to His teachings, have obeyed His teachings, and have a right relationship with Him.

That is those who are trusting Jesus and His righteousness and not our own.

We can never do good enough good works to earn salvation.

We can only be saved through Jesus' good works.

He suffered and died for our sins so that we wouldn't have to, but we must follow Him, obey His commands and have a continual righteous relationship with Him.

That's It in a nutshell! If you do not have a relationship with Jesus right now, then don't put it off any longer.

Believe, trust and have faith in, Jesus and you will be saved.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31

If you don't know Jesus and would like to get to know Him in a real and personal way, and you don't feel like you know how, I am here to help you.

Please share this video with your friends and family as Jesus is coming any day now.

When Jesus Raptures the true Church, the followers of Jesus, out of this world, all hell will break loose on earth.

Rapture means to catch up to meet Jesus in the air. The dead in Christ will rise first and those that are still alive on the earth will then be caught up to meet Jesus in the air too.

When Jesus returns in the air to Rapture His true Church He will be bringing His reward with Him. He will reward those that are faithful and true.

Jesus does not desire that any be lift behind to suffer the wrath of God known as the 7-year tribulation.

Jesus is calling you now. Can you see Him now? He's holding out His hand to you. Take His hand now. Hear Him saying to you, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

All heaven is rejoicing over you because there is a new name written in heaven.

How To and How Not To Judge Others ~ Matthew 7:1-5

How To and How Not To Judge Others - Matthew 7:1-5.

Do not judge and criticize and condemn others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge, so that you will not be judged unfairly.

For just as you hypocritically judge others when you are sinful and unrepentant, so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure used to pass out judgment, judgment will be measured to you.

Why do you look at the insignificant speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice and acknowledge the egregious log that is in your own eye?

Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me get the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye?

You hypocrite, play-actor, pretender, first get the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

"I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”

Parable of the Lost Sheep ~ Matthew 18:12-14 ~ 2023

Parable of the Lost Sheep - Matthew 18:12-14

“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do?

Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?

And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away!

In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.

Parable of the Talents - Why do I study The Amplified version? - it's easy to read and helps me understand what is being said. ~ Matthew 25 ~ 2223

Parable of the Talents

“For it is just like a man who was about to take a journey, and he called his servants together and entrusted them with his possessions.

To one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and then he went on his journey.

The one who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made a profit and gained five more.

Likewise the one who had two made a profit and gained two more.

But the one who had received the one went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

“Now after a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.

And the one who had received the five talents came and brought him five more, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted to me five talents.

See, I have made a profit and gained five more talents.’

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.

You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master.’

“Also the one who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted two talents to me.

See, I have made a profit and gained two more talents.’

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.

You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master.’

“The one who had received one talent also came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a harsh and demanding man, reaping the harvest where you did not sew and gathering where you did not scatter seed.

So I was afraid to lose the talent, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is your own.’

“But his master answered him, ‘You wicked, lazy servant, you knew that I reap the harvest where I did not sew and gather where I did not scatter seed.

Then you ought to have put my money with the bankers, and at my return I would have received my money back with interest.

So take the talent away from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.’

“For to everyone who has and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely, more will be given, and he will be richly supplied so that he will have an abundance;

but from the one who does not have because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from God, even what he does have will be taken away.

And throw out the worthless servant into the outer darkness;

in that place of grief and torment there will be weeping over sorrow and pain and grinding of teeth over distress and anger."

The "Parable of the Talents" is the second teaching Parable of Jesus found in Matthew Chapter 25.

This parable seems to be about investing money, but is that what Jesus' parable is about?

Notice Jesus didn't use the word money.

What the Master entrusted the servants with were his possessions.

The Master gave his servants the responsibility to be good stewards of the Master's possessions.

The next thing the Master did was to delegate responsibility according to each servant's personal stewardship or management ability.

Our Heavenly Father entrusts us with His possessions to be good stewards by investing in the Kingdom of Heaven and serving others.

Parable of the Marriage Feast

Parable of the Marriage Feast

Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying,

“The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son.

And he sent his servants to call those who had [previously] been invited to the wedding feast, but they refused to come.

Then he sent out some other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who have been invited, “Look, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fattened calves are butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast.”’

But they paid no attention [they disregarded the invitation, treating it with contempt] and went away, one to his farm, another to his business.

The rest [of the invited guests] seized his servants and mistreated them [insulting and humiliating them] and killed them.

The king was enraged [when he heard this], and sent his soldiers and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding [feast] is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

So go to the main highways that lead out of the city, and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ 1

Those servants went out into the streets and gathered together all the people they could find, both bad and good; so the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests [sitting at the banquet table].

“But when the king came in to see the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed [appropriately] in wedding clothes, and he said, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wearing the wedding clothes [that were provided for you]?’ And the man was speechless and without excuse.

Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; in that place there will be weeping [over sorrow and pain] and grinding of teeth [over distress and anger].’

For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.”

This parable reminds me of The Great Commission from Mark 16:14-16 Amplified Bible

The Disciples Commissioned

"Later, Jesus appeared to the eleven [disciples] themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He called them to account for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen [from death].

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

He who has believed [in Me] and has been baptized will be saved [from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment]; but he who has not believed will be condemned."

It We Never Meet Again

As I was doing my daily walk and praying as I walk this morning, I remembered a song I had heard earlier today, and it was heavily on my mind - "If we never meet again" is one of my favorite songs. Each year as I get older I realize just how short our time here on. So many of the singers in this video have already gone home to be with Jesus. Life is short, so I believe we should cherish every moment we have with our family and friends.

Here is some other version of this song you may also enjoy on YouTube.
